Monadelphous has been awarded a new Engineering and Construction Project located in Cape Lambert, WA.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Controls Lead to join us in our Head Office in Victoria Park, Perth.
Key responsibilities of this role will include:
Liaise with Company and Contractor Commercial teams to ensure timely notifications of payment claims.
Provide a focal point within the Project Controls team for accurate forecasting on cost and revenue along with earned value and quantity KPI's.
It is expected that the Project Controls Lead works closely with both the Engineering, Construction and Commercial functions.
Lead and drive change management, and clearly demonstrate the impact to both Project Schedule and Budget.
Validation of Costs against the Project Budget and potential variations.
Manage the Project Controls Reporting, including S-Curves, Earned Value histograms, and manning forecast and weekly earned progress.
Manage the weekly Project progress measurement, including Quantity Manhour reporting, SPI and CPI variances.
P6 Schedule integration and alignment with Contract quantities and manhours.
Knowledge of Schedule Delay Analysis, and forensic planning methods.
Deliver project WBS and coding structure (OBS, WBS, CBS, WP) to control costs, hours and schedule.
What you'll bring:
A Tertiary qualification in Engineering or Trade Qualification is desirable.
At least 3 years in a senior construction/project controls role with recognized operations or construction management experience in the related multi-discipline scopes.
Experience in the use of various diagnostic tools and a track record of seeking technology solutions as an enabler for improvement.
Ability to develop and lead strategies and initiatives to foster innovation.
Proven hands-on operational site experience with a proven track record in similar role on previous large scale complex maintenance contracts.
Proven extensive experience and/or training in ERP systems, Primavera P6 and/or other Systems.
A strong commercial acumen ensuring responsibility for key deliverables and incorporating report preparation and presentation.
Interpersonal and verbal communication skills – establishing client relationships, making group presentations, communicating effectively with site personnel.
Is methodical, pays attention to detail and takes responsibility for the quality and accuracy of own work and meeting deadlines.
Demonstrated understanding of Critical Path analysis and Extension of Time claims.
