About the OpportunityAs a Project Communications Officer, you'll report to the Communications Specialist and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to drive communication and engagement strategies for CleanCo's renewable energy projects in Central Queensland. Working closely with key internal and external stakeholders, you will craft and execute compelling communications to promote CleanCo's initiatives, contributing to our mission of leading Queensland's energy transition. This role will be based from Rockhampton. Key responsibilities will include:
Develop and execute internal and external communication strategies.Support stakeholder and community engagement through the preparation of presentations, collateral and engagement tools, as well as supporting the Community Performance Team at engagement events, as required.Create content for CleanCo's website, social media platforms, and other internal and external engagement platforms.Collaborate with the media team and project partners on local and state-wide media opportunities.About youTertiary qualifications in communications, marketing, or a related field.Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong command of writing and content creation.Excellent interpersonal skills and experience engaging with diverse stakeholders.High proficiency in using standard communication tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Canva, social media platforms, Wordpress), with strong design skills and understanding of brand application.A proactive, collaborative mindset with the ability to manage deadlines and handle multiple priorities.Experience with videography and/or photography is highly desirable.IAP2 certification (desirable but not essential).You have a passion to be part of something bigger than yourself, that contributes to the delivery of a clean energy future crafted in Queensland.What We Can OfferWe understand that work is just one important aspect of our employee's lives.
