We are currently looking for the below roles to assist with the State Elections next year:- Location: Head Office and Processing Centre - Perth CBD Length: 2nd January 2025 to 25 April 2025 Role: The Ballot Paper Production and Reconciliation Officer is responsible for performing a range of duties as directed by the Project Leader to support the delivery of the State General Election (SGE).
The Project Assistant reports to the Project Leader for Ballot Paper Production and Reconciliation, is a member of the Election Operations Division and, will be positioned at the WAEC Head Office prior to the election and at the WAEC Processing Centre post-election Branch: Election Operations Management - Ballot Paper Production & Reconciliation Level: Level 2 Rate: $45.00 Task/Stages: Administrative support.
This includes: Record keeping Editing and implementation of Standard Operation Processes.
Supporting preparation exercises such as training or discussion workshops Provide support for election preparation, election delivery and election review Other duties as requires.
Assist in the preparation of the ballot paper for proofing Assist in the support of for the proofing team Assist in the provision of data to the printer using the secure portal.
Quality Assurance checking of the ballot paper printing at the printers Assistance in the reconciliation of returned ballot papers against issued ballot papers Counting of ballot papers as required.
Preparation of materials for sending to interstate and overseas polling places.
Distribution of materials for sending to interstate and overseas polling places.
Collation of returned materials for work at the processing centre.
Skills: Experience in providing administrative support Demonstrated time management Demonstrated skills to management priorities.
Knowledge and experience in the use Microsoft 365 Attention to detail Contribute to the success of team goals Ability to work as part of a small team and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders Good communications skills both in writing and speaking Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
