High-end residential builder seeking a Registered Architect to join their team Competitive salary paying up to $150K + super for the right person North Sydney location, project values up to $2M - $3M About the Company Our client is a boutique bespoke builder with a niche focus on knock down re-builds across the North Shore and Northern Beaches.
Based out of North Sydney, you will work closely with clients to design a unique and one of a kind home.
You will be supported by a exceptionally experienced team of individuals within the residential construction sector to deliver innovative and quality homes to the local market, with homes generally ranging from $2M - $3M in construction value.
About the RoleOur Client is looking for a Registered Architect that is highly experienced within the residential building space, specifically across Class 1 and Class 2 projects.
This is an extremely creative role where you will lead the project from conception until construction.
We are looking for someone with an innovative take on design, is comfortable acting as a project lead and can push the project to where it needs to be with the support and collaboration of your team.Duties Lead and participate in design meetings with clientsCreate conceptual drawings and designs, ensuring that you are taking into considering budget and local planning/zone requirementsProduction of drawings and plans to meet client specifications, tenders and variations Provide design solutions where requiredEnsure that documentation is compliant with codes, guidelines, standards and regulationsProduction of construction drawings, DA,CC and CDC plans Liaising with the relevent Consultants, Certifiers, and Suppliers etc.Comprehensive understanding of NCC and regulationsAbility to communicate effectively with clients, management and internal teams3D modelling and rendering may be required from time to time Skills & Experience Bachelors of Architecture (or equivalent)Hold a current registration as a Building Practitioner or Registered ArchitectProficient with drafting and design programs, preferably Revit or ArchicadMinimum 5 years experience as a Building Designer or Architect with proven experience with Class 1 projectsHighly organised with strong attention to detail Experience working across bespoke homes and concept design, construction drawings, renders, variations, council plans etc.Comprehensive understanding of BCA, NCC and regulations Benefits Attractive remuneration between $130,000 - $150,000 + superannuation (experience dependant)Flexible working hoursAnnual salary reviewsBe supported by a highly experienced and knowledgeable teamClose to public transport Be part of a growing business with a strong pipeline of work Feel free to each out to me on 0447 367 966 for a confidential chat or if you have any questions regarding the role.Please note that you must be a Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen to be eligible for this role.
