We are seeking a skilled and passionate Project Arborist to join our dynamic team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing tree protection on Council projects, like playground, pavilion and footpath renewals.
This will include project scoping and preliminary design input, preparing arboricultural impact assessments and tree management plans, and works supervision.
The role will suit someone who can build strong relationships with project managers and contractors and explain arboricultural concepts in a way that anyone can understand.
Council has established tree protection practices on projects, but this role will expand the projects which consider tree protection and ensure trees are considered at all stages of a project.
