We are seeking a Project and Maintenance Support Engineer to join our team and hit the ground running on exciting projects and site reliability, at our Boronia pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. The Project and Maintenance Support Engineer has direct responsibility for the design, development, project management, and qualification of projects as directed by the Senior Manager Engineering. This role supports IDT's strategic plan and operational requirements within a sterile cGMP environment.
The Project and Maintenance Support Engineer will also be involved in establishing validation protocols, including IQ, OQ, FS, and PQs. The role requires strong collaboration and communication with contractors, suppliers, and internal departments. When projects are in the development phase or pending approval, the role will revert to the original PD duties as outlined below.
Formal Education:
Bachelor of Engineering, Process and Chemical Engineering
An Australian recognised qualification in maintenance (Fitter-Turner/Toolmaker/Industrial Electrician, mechanical/chemical engineering).
Extensive experience in the management and delivery of validation activities and project management of systems in a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment.
Work Experience:
Proven experience within pharmaceutical manufacturing facility
Direct experience in the design, development and implementation of validation activities in a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment. Ideally servicing international customers.
At least 5 years supervisory experience will have been gained in the Pharmaceutical, or Chemical processing environment.
Management of trade personnel and contractors to ensure deliverables are met in a safe, cost-effective manner.
Preparation and management of budgets.
Computer literacy.
Other Training:
Validation of pharmaceutical systems.
Project management systems.
Lean manufacturing processes.
PLC (Advantage)
AutoCAD (Advantage)
