Project Administrator

Business growth has created a permanent position for an experienced Project Administrator at a leading waterfront Marine Services centre for the maintenance & repair of Commercial Vessels and Recreational Boating. Location is Rozelle Bay in Sydney.
Reporting to a Senior Project Manager, your key tasks will be to:
Assist and coordinate all facets of Commercial projects, and Recreational jobs from time to time.  Ensure the documentation of project estimates and allocation of costs.Raise, prioritise and track purchase orders for project supplies.Coordinate permits for hot works, working at heights and confined spaces.Assist in the coordination of subcontractors, and allocation of resources.  Coordinate the allocation work space, booking of arrivals and lifting of vessels.Communicate with clients to keep them up to date with project progress.    The person we seek would have:
Relevant Trade or Tertiary qualifications, and ideally a navy or defence work background (but not essential).Some previous project administration experience (essential) A high standard of attention to detail (essential).A car driver licence (preferred).Competency in MS Project, Outlook, Word, Excel, and MYOB or equivalent software.Good people, communication and recording skills.This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in Project Management, and work alongside dedicated professionals in a high quality business environment at one of Sydney's most comprehensive boating repair and maintenance facilities.
