Some of our projects include hotels, high-rise residential & commercial towers, hospitals, universities, retail, major sporting facilities, data centres and government & defence projects.
The Opportunity We're offering an exciting full-time opportunity for a Project Administrator with strong administration skills, to support our projects team across a variety of construction projects.
Reporting to the Project Coordinators and Management team, this varied role is crucial to the success and efficiency of the projects and business operations.
We are looking for an organised and proactive individual who has a keen eye for detail and can use their initiative to ensure they are on top of the administration requirements across all projects.
You'll be based in the head office located in Alexandria and will visit construction sites across Sydney when required. The role is offering a remuneration of $70,000 plus superannuation.
Your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Assist with the delivery of various construction projectsManage paperwork associated with contracts, programs, projects and services providedCollect and analyzing data associated with projectsCoordinate project correspondence, resources, scheduling, materials delivery and informationCoordinate daily client service requests and ensure they are fulfilled by the projects teamWork with the Project team and site Supervisors to eliminate blockers and day to day issuesAssign tasks to team members and communicate expectations for project milestones and deliverablesPrepare all project folders with drawings, scope of works, budgets, sign off sheets, safety forms and documentationMaintain operational systems and review and update processesSupport the project team with admin tasks, inductions, safety documentation, rostering and labor budgeting etcCoordinate all staff and subcontractor project inductions and site bookingsOrder materials and inventory and review and submit invoicesCoordinate quality assurance site inspections, analyze data and provide reportingSupport the project team with quality assurance processesCoordinate project team meetings and ensure actions are followed upReview and submit timesheets of cleaning staff across projects and correct discrepanciesAssist with on-boarding new cleaning staff, monitor and report on performanceMaintain and update project related databases and spreadsheetsImplement initiatives to improve internal processes and operational capability across projectsImplement safety training processes and create presentations for on site staffAssist with collating and preparing project reports for the management teamAbout You To be successful in this role, you will have;
At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industryTertiary or TAFE qualification in business administration or project related focusStrong understanding of project administrationTech-savvy and proficient in Microsoft 365 applicationsStrong planning and organizational skills to deliver projects and outcomesHighly developed interpersonal and communication skillsGood analytical and reporting skillsTakes initiative and a strong desire to add valueStrong time-management skills, attention to detail and prioritizationDemonstrated adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced work environmentProfessional and positive can-do attitudeStrong work ethic, demonstrates initiative and is deadline drivenHonest, motivated and enthusiastic team playerNext Steps Apply now if you're looking to join a dynamic, results-driven and supportive team that is passionate about the construction industry and want to make a valuable contribution to the success of major projects.
