McLean Farms is in search for a Project Administrator to join our team.
McLean Farms Administration Pty Ltd is a diversified family-owned agri-business based in the Darling Downs, specialising in livestock and food production.
We are currently seeking a Project Administrator to join the team in a full-time capacity based in Pittsworth, QLD.
Salary range: $70,000 to $75,000 per annum. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with projects in our developing business, working closely with the Projects Facilitators and contractors/accountants. The role will assist with project business cases, site planning/supervision, budgeting, and seeing projects through from the planning stages to completion.
Key Responsibilities: Compile business cases with the relevant supporting documentation to promote projects for the business. Facilitate weekly project progress meetings and address actions accordingly. Attend and facilitate on-site meetings. Liaise with suppliers to obtain best prices and accurate information to ensure pricing is correct. Communicate with engineers regarding matters related to the projects during the design/implementation stages. Ensure accurate budget tracking in each category of the projects. Involvement in contract setup with suppliers/contractors. Manage and report on site cost variations/savings. Ensure biosecurity and WHS requirements are always adhered to by all parties. Monthly reporting on project figures and cost information for monthly manager and board meetings. Use initiative to deal with sometimes complex scenarios and provide information/advice to direct supervisor. Coordination with import agents to facilitate shipping container deliveries. Monitor and report on project progress. Requirements: Relevant tertiary qualification or experience in the construction industry. Current Class C driver's licence and clean driving record. Team player with good communication skills. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Demonstrated interpersonal skills. Demonstrated time management, attention to detail, self-motivation, and professional skills commensurate with the role. Competent computer skills with Microsoft Office suite utilising Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS Projects. Demonstrated customer service skills and high-level communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills including negotiation and dispute resolution skills. Advantageous: Engineering qualifications or project management (preferably Civil or Project Engineering). Experience/qualifications as a Contracts Administrator. Accounting background/qualification.
