The RoleGNI are seeking an experienced Project Administrator to join and support an upcoming renewable energy project in Tasmania. This position will be based in Hobart for 12 months and then the project office will move to Devonport for the rest of the duration of the project.
The CandidateIdeally the successful candidate will have administration experience working with project teams in the utilities / construction or resource industries in a fast-paced environment.
Job Tasks and ResponsibilitiesReporting directly to the Project Manager, the Project Administrator's role is to coordinate and carry out the day-to-day administrative tasks to assist the project team in achieving company and project goals. Primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Document control activities (Creation, Submission, Distribution and storing of relevant documents)Onboarding of personnel (Arranging, Medicals, Inductions, Site Access, PPE, Travel)Maintenance of personnel records, trackers and registersAssist with purchasing requirements; (Invoicing, Goods Received)Essential Skills / QualificationsQualifications in Business/Project Administration/Office Management.3 years' experience in a similar role.Demonstrated good safety record and knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety.Current Drivers Licence.High level customer relationship management, communication, and interpersonal skills.Strong attention to detail.Intermediate level PC, printer, scanners, and internet skills.Intermediate level Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills.High efficiency and accuracy of typing and word processing.Experience with diary and travel management.Excellent time management and organisational skills.Desirable SkillsExperience in utilities and/or construction and/or resources industry.Ability to work co-operatively and effectively both independently and in a team environment.Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, solve problems, manage and meet deadlines and maintain high quality of work.Safe and flexible approach to carrying out required duties.The BenefitsThe successful candidate will benefit from flexible working arrangements, career development and growth opportunities, and competitive remuneration.
