About the role
As a Project Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our project management team and ensuring the smooth operation of our construction projects. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Preparing site folders, including developing relevant SWMS for high-risk activities and WHS documentation for site staff.
Enforcing and following the company's procurement policies and procedures.
Reviewing, comparing, and analysing goods and services for purchase.
Assisting Project Managers with timely material orders for projects.
Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating rates.
Maintaining an inventory of tools and equipment, including tracking maintenance/calibration.
Assisting site staff with IMS compliance documentation.
Supporting Project Managers with end-of-month invoicing and financial data tracking (bank guarantee/cash retention).
Attending site meetings with Project Managers and taking minutes.
Managing stationery and office supplies.
Document control of construction drawings and necessary documentation.
Assisting Project Managers with tracking contract variations and RFIs.
Providing support to all management and Pensar staff as needed.
Key Competencies:
To excel in this role, you will need the following key competencies:
· Previous experience working in the construction/utilities industry.
Effective communication skills at all levels.
Ability to work autonomously and independently with minimal supervision.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Attention to detail.
Compliance with safety procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project, etc.).
