Project Administrator Location: Darwin Status: Full-time – Ongoing Are you an organized and detail-oriented professional looking to make a real impact in Indigenous land and project management? The NLC is seeking a dedicated Projects Administrator to join our engaged team, supporting key initiatives that shape the future of land use, resource management, and technology in our communities.
About the Role As the Project Administrator, you will work closely with Project Managers, providing essential administrative and coordination support to ensure their relevant projects run smoothly and meet strategic objectives. You will be integral to the success of several major NLC projects, including: Land Use Management and Royalties (LUMAR), Permit Reform Project (PRP) and the ICT Project. These projects aim to empower Indigenous communities by enhancing land management systems, streamlining processes for stakeholder engagement, and advancing digital capabilities to support sustainable, effective operations.
What You Will Bring: You will bring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and an ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Your background in administrative support and project coordination enables you to assist Project Managers in delivering high-impact initiatives. You are proficient in handling project documentation, coordinating schedules, and managing financial and procurement processes in line with compliance standards. Strong communication, proactive problem-solving, and a collaborative mindset will enable you to effectively support all relevant stakeholders, ensuring the seamless advancement of NLC projects.
In addition to this, you will have:
Diploma of Business, Information Technology or relevant equivalent qualifications. Minimum two (2) years of experience in ICT administration and support. Sound ICT literacy skills including the use of Database Management systems and Microsoft Office 365. Experience with Microsoft Projects and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems is highly desirable. Current C Class Drivers Licence and the ability and willingness to undertake remote travel in a manual 4WD vehicle or light aircraft. What's in it for you? We offer: A base salary of $73,987 per annum plus 14.5% superannuation and salary sacrificing up to $15,900 + Meal Entertainment and Holiday Accommodation benefits up to $2,650 per year. Other benefits under our Enterprise Agreement include: District allowance of up to $4,797 per annum for individuals with dependents and $2,630 without dependents. 5 weeks annual leave, leaving loading, 18 days personal leave; Paid Christmas close down; Upon completion of 12 months of service an Annual airfare with a net (in hand) value of $2,961.
