This position is located in: Melbourne/Flexible
In this role you will work with the finance and administration teams, as well as in-country team members and technical staff, to provide logistical, procurement and administrative support to a range of tuberculosis projects and linked activities delivered in Western Province, PNG.
You will also:
Provide administrative support to project activities, such as workshops, and conference attendance, as well as support mobilisation and demobilisation of all personnel. Organise travel arrangements for all consultants and staff. Provide administrative support to finance related project activities. Process payments & reimbursements for project teams in Melbourne and PNG to liaise with finance staff in Melbourne and PNG to track project payments. Coordinate the recruitment and mobilisation/demobilisation of in-country staff, in partnership with Project managers. Establish and enhance strong working relationships with PNG Country Offices. This is a fixed term position until 31 December 2025 with possibility of extension. We are open to candidates seeking part-time or full-time work (0.8 - 1.0 FTE).
Work from home or join us in the office, it's up to you! While our head office is based in Melbourne, we are open to fully remote working (based anywhere in Australia). You will also have flexibility to manage your own working hours.
Let's talk about you The following criteria are essential requirements:
A minimum of 1 year experience providing administrative support to complex projects or programs. Previous experience adhering to project finance processes/policy in an administrative capacity. Experience in coordinating travel arrangements. Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. Strong judgement and problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage with a diverse range of people.
