Project Administrator/ Engineer

We are currently seeking a suitably experienced Project Administrator/Project Engineer for a leading provider of heavy haulage equipment for commercial and industrial workshops throughout Australia. The successful candidate will be joining an industry-leading team of Project Managers and will be responsible for overseeing the entire life cycle of each project.This diverse role involves managing all project phases from the award of the project to completion. With a strong interrelationship with the senior management team and external stakeholders, the Project Administrator will play a key role in managing and monitoring contractor and technician activities.Key Responsibilities:Manage each project within the agreed cost budget and timeframes to ensure client satisfaction.Develop detailed, costed, and appropriately timed project plans ensuring completion status and costs are updated on a regular basis.Organise sub-contractors for the installation of products.Formalise contractor and technician allocation to projects and program works to ensure the timely commencement of completed projects.Establish material quantities required for the project and coordinate with the procurement team.Take ownership of projects and have key accountability for their personal approach and attitude at work.Conduct regular site inspections, auditing, and coordination of service workshop installation construction projects in an efficient and effective manner.Key Requirements:Previous Project Administration/Project Engineering experience.A demonstrated aptitude for mathematical, engineering, and design disciplines.Sound level of commercial acumen and a strong level of attention to detail.A demonstrated professional approach and attitude.High level communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Proven report writing and presentation experience.Time management and personal organisational skills.Ability to interpret drawings, identify variations, and provide design input.Willingness to travel throughout Australia (2 – 3 Days a Month)This is a permanent, full-time position with a long-term career outcome. Salary, vehicle/vehicle allowance, and other project management tools will be provided.
