With a growing team and an exciting line-up of projects coming up, we are looking for Project Coordinators and Project Administrators to join the MPA team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an experienced and knowledgeable team who will support and develop you in your project management career.
About the role Reporting to a Project Director and working with an assigned project team, you will coordinate and manage all project-related documentation, including contract management, document control, the scope of works and WHS compliance documentation.
You will support the Project Managers in coordinating site inspections with subcontractors and clients, requesting quotations and setting up site inductions.
Key responsibilities include: Assist in the preparation of project commencement management documents such as the dilapidation reports, procurement schedules, or scope statement.Prepare, maintain, and issue head contract and subcontractor and supply documents, including supplier agreements, contract warranty and guarantee, contract annexures and trade letting.Facilitate and process commercial payments including deposit payments and creditor claims and retention invoices.Prepare and compile handover documentation and assist with defects.Monitor progress of program initiatives and update program documentation.Prepare project status reports for project managers and stakeholders, regularly monitoring and updating program.Schedule and attend site, project and stakeholder meetings, minute taking and facilitate communication between the project manager and stakeholders throughout the project life cycle.About you Ideally, coming from a similar role in the Construction industry, you will understand the principles of Project Management, the administrative and compliance requirements that underpin them, and have worked with subcontractors and clients.
You will have a Bachelor of Construction Management, or equivalent, and will be highly organised, coordinating various activities and ensuring successful completion, with a proven ability to manage compliance databases.
Experience in commercial fitout and refurbishment an advantage.Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Motivated to develop your career within the construction industry.What we offer Bringing life to our workplace means creating an environment for people to grow, connect and expand their career.
