This initiative aims to position Newcastle and the Hunter region as a leader in producing, storing, and exporting clean energy technologies, including hydrogen and green ammonia.
YOUR NEW JOB As a Project Administrator, you will be at the forefront of a revolutionary clean energy project. This is a unique role where you will be supporting the delivery of strategic programs on behalf of the Executive Manager, Infrastructure Services, and the Senior Manager Projects, including assisting in the management of project documentation, record management, administration, and purchasing.
Here's what you'll be doing:
Coordinate Project Deliverables: Work closely with key team members to ensure project milestones are met.Documentation: Assist with project close-out documentation and systemize processes for smooth project delivery.Reporting and Dashboards: Create and maintain project reports, dashboards, and roadmaps.Research and Support: Provide clear support strategies and develop supplier/tender materials.Meetings Coordination: Prepare agendas, record minutes, and follow up on action items for various meetings.Monthly Reporting: Collate project reports and assist in developing Board and Committee papers.Project Management System: Set up projects and liaise with consultants and suppliers.Presentations and Purchasing: Create project presentations, prepare purchase orders, and coordinate invoice approvals.Supplier Management: Handle new supplier processes and monthly timesheet submissions.Budget Assistance: Help prepare project budgets and produce required reports.ABOUT YOU We're looking for a strategic thinker with the precision and determination to see tasks through to completion. With a minimum of 5 years of experience working with project teams leading large-scale engineering professional services or construction projects, you will be self-driven, ready to challenge the status quo, and passionate about supporting project delivery teams and executives..
