Cherry Creek Estate Group is Australia's first commercial avocado oil producer to Woolworths and global markets.
The Group also owns and operates a 673 hectare horticulture business growing avocados, macadamias and ginger.

Reporting into the Board of Directors and the Founder, you will take a lead in driving project accounting supporting both finance and operations and support delivery of the contracted project deliverables and works across the operational teams, engaging with multiple stakeholders.
THE DUTIESProject Accounting
Prepare monthly project costing reporting and forecast projections including utilization rates
Prepare project variance reporting against project budgets and forecasts
Assist the teams in preparing quotations for proposals using the appropriate pricing tool
Prepare monthly project budget analysis and reconciliations
Escalate contract change proposals to the Executive Manager of the division
Provide accounting input to projects and proposals including calculation of opportunity costs in relation to onerous clauses
Support monthly project budget reviews with project leads and develop project forecasts
Maintain project master data in Planview system including accurate application of project codes, project level cost codes, and associated general ledger accounts
Provide input to overall business forecasts, identifying project expenditure patterns to inform business cash flow impacts
Review and control accounts payable and receivables
Prepare month end reconciliations
Processing 60-100 transactions per month
Ideally you will have a strong background in project accounting in either a manufacturing or agriculture industry driving WIP reporting and consulting stakeholders at all levels in a business.
A hands on and strong attention to detail will be paramount to the success in this role.
Communication
Contribute to project meetings to provide analysis and advice on project budgets, project financial risks, project revenue forecasts, and valuable insights
Support project delivery teams to facilitate compliance to policies and procedures throughout project lifestyle
Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with internal and external customers, including project
teams and Finance team members
ABOUT YOUWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional with a degree in Accounting and proven experience in project accounting.

Qualifications and Experience: A degree in Accounting or a related field.
Demonstrated experience in project accounting, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and Xero.
Communication and Stakeholder Management: Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with diverse stakeholders and communicating financial insights effectively.
Adaptability and Problem-Solving: Ability to work independently, adapt to change, and solve problems in a fast-paced setting, while maintaining a high level of integrity and accountability.
