What Are You Going To DoProject Accounting: Prepare, review, analyse, and report on monthly project forecasts.Accounts Payable Oversight: Ensure accurate and timely processing of accounts payable related to the project.Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders including funding bodies, contractors, and government agencies.Procurement Compliance: Ensure procurement processes align with relevant legislation and procurement Framework.Safety Leadership: Promote a culture prioritising health and safety for staff, contractors, and the community.Systems Development: Lead or support the implementation of financial system upgrades, particularly within TechnologyOne.Financial Reporting: Prepare reconciliations and reports, including compliance reporting and earned value methodology (EVM).System Support: Troubleshoot and resolve issues in financial systems impacting project functions, and provide training to team members.Internal Relationships: Foster strong relationships to promote coordinated financial management within the project.Essential Skills And KnowledgeQualifications: Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Experience: Proven experience in project accounting, preferably in large-scale infrastructure projects.Skills:Strong understanding of Local Government Accounting Standards and the Local Government Act.Proficiency in TechnologyOne or similar financial systems.Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and reforecasting.Ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.#J-18808-Ljbffr
