Our client, a leader in their field, is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Project Accountant to join their dynamic team.

Your new role
In this new role, the ideal candidate will be responsible for: Monitoring and analysing costs, ensuring financial efficiency and transparency. Cooperating with project managers to help them meet budgeting goals. Writing reports and presenting information to key stakeholders, providing clear and concise financial updates. Developing and adjusting budgets to meet the changing needs of projects. Researching to find opportunities to reduce expenses and increase profitability. Evaluating project requirements to provide vital resources, including financial and human resources. Communicating with suppliers to negotiate material costs, ensuring the best value for money. Optimising decommissioning procedures to minimise losses and maximise resource utilisation. Visiting and monitoring retail outlets to assess wastage and efficiency, identifying areas for improvement. Calculating the variance between the budgeting plan and reality, providing insights into financial performance. Investigating unprofitable variances and losses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions. Implementing accounting software and automating cost control systems to streamline financial management. Developing financial reporting procedures and systems to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Collaborating with project managers to create effective budgets that align with project goals.
