We are seeking to enhance our Project and Accounts team by adding a Senior Project Cost Controller to partner with the CEO, Financial Controller and Project Managers.
This is an exciting time to join us as we continue to grow our project management support team who deliver with high quality project reporting, cost control management, project analysis/project tracking support.

The Opportunity Based in the Newcastle CBD, your new role will see you working closely with the project management team from proposal development to project execution and reporting.
You will be responsible for the project management tracking analysis/performance monitoring/invoicing of projects.
You will translate this into a range of project administration reporting.
On a typical day, you will be involved with:
Reviewing proposals and contract terms and conditions, including the related project financials
Monitoring the integrity of project cost data captured in our ERP system
Project monitoring and compliance across multiple currencies, including review of controls and deliverables
Using a range of systems and tools including Business Central, Power BI and Excel
Managing the invoicing of projects in line with contractual requirements
About You 5+ years' experience in a similar role in job costing/project accounting/trust accounting in mining/construction/commercial real estate/engineering consulting or professional services
Proven experience working in a fast-paced environment where you were not afraid to "get your hands dirty" where you have learnt how to juggle and multitask
With a people focused communication style, building relationships, negotiating with and influencing a range of stakeholders is how you get things done
Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Business or Accounting are not essentials but would be highly valued or supported if the successful candidate was currently studying
