As part of the Finance Team, you'll contribute to the success of cutting-edge Naval Combat Systems programs.
Your new role
As a Project Accountant, you will work closely with the Naval Combat Systems Finance program lead to provide comprehensive financial management for the Enterprise Partnering Agreement (EPA) and other key programs.
Your responsibilities will include developing financial plans, managing monthly reporting, forecasts, and budgets, and ensuring compliance with IFRS 15.
You will also handle tasking estimates, variance analysis reports, and maintain a financial overview of all EPA tasking orders.
What you'll need to succeed
Demonstrated expertise in project financial management principles, including earned value management, project accounting, and cost estimation.
Compliance with relevant legislations and policies.
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI, with strong communication skills to engage positively with stakeholders.
Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Business, or Accounting.
Ability to work under pressure, commitment to personal development, and a collaborative, innovative approach to achieving results.
An Australian Citizenship and eligibility for defence security clearance.
