The Role: The Children's Programs Supervisors create safe experiences for children of all ages.
Their role is to coordinate, assist and ensure the children's program team deliver programs which result in a positive experience and an environment where all parents, guardians and teachers feel comfortable when leaving children in the care of our staff.
Key Duties and Responsibilities will include: Ensure SSCT program aligns with vision, values, and purpose for positive child and guardian experiences across business unitsEnforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for children's activities to maintain safety and complianceSupervise activities, ensuring duty of care for all childrenPromote inclusive participation and provide alternate activities where possibleImplement health and safety measures during sessions, including warm-ups, drills, games, and cool-downsHandle incidents, injuries, and equipment failures, providing alternatives as neededCommunicate positively with children, guardians, and staffEnforce health and safety rules outlined in SOPsTrain and support staff for consistency in proceduresPerform minor administrative tasks for program management Required Skills & Qualifications: Pool Lifeguard CertificateCPR certificateCurrent First Aid certificateManagement of Asthma Risks and Emergencies in the WorkplaceFirst Aid Management of AnaphylaxisValid Working with Children's CheckAbility to lead a high standard of varied activitiesInnovative ideasCommunication skills, both verbal and written Why is this a great place to work?
