About the RoleA fantastic new opportunity has arisen for a Risk Programs and Governance Manager to join our Asset Services division.
You will be responsible for designing and implementing programs to enhance risk and compliance management within Integrated Energy Operations.
This includes risk and compliance activities related to the Security of Critical Infrastructure Act (SOCI) and the Electricity Market Rules.
Reporting to the Manager Risk, Compliance, and Assurance, the role aims to establish a consultative, collaborative risk and compliance function across AGL's generation fleet.
This is a permanent opportunity and can be based at any of our generation sites or corporate offices nationally; however, the preferred locations would be: AGL Loy Yang – Traralgon, AGL Bayswater - Muswellbrook, or Melbourne CBD. What you'll be doingAssist in managing operational and strategic risks and compliance obligations including reporting and communicating with senior management, regulators, and executives.Implement programs targeting risk improvement in SOCI and Electricity Market Rules compliance.Develop and manage risk and compliance databases, dashboards, and tracking tools.Build networks with AGL operations risk and compliance personnel.Provide targeted reporting to various stakeholder groups.Stay updated on regulatory changes and facilitate upskilling programs.Drive best practices in risk and compliance management.Collaborate with AGL Health, Safety, and Environmental staff.About youWhat you'll bring to the tableProven experience in risk management, health and safety, or related programs.Program management and governance expertise.Understanding of Risk and Compliance Management frameworks.Excellent communication and influencing skills.Tertiary or Engineering qualifications are highly regarded.Previous experience with risk and compliance management systems (desirable).Knowledge of the energy industry (desirable).Applications close on Wednesday 22 January 2025.
