The Role The vibrant Programming & Streaming, Childrens and Family team has an exciting opportunity for a Programming Planner, working across Big Kids and Education. This is a hands-on role, where you will be a key part of delivering great programming to Australian audiences, and no two days are ever the same. As part of a supportive and professional team, the role will involve: Implementing schedules that reflect programming strategies and plans. Modifying and adapting as programs change, communicating changes to relevant stakeholders. Liasing with broader ABC teams including Marketing, Publicity and Communications. About YouWe don't expect you to know everything from the start however an understanding how programming works, program rights and/or audience performance would be an advantage. Your skills and experience will also include: Experience in program acquisitions, production or scheduling and/or relevant media associated qualifications. Attention to detail with an ability to recognise all the links across scheduling, production, stakeholders, software, Rights and audiences. Resilient by nature with an ability to pivot with unexpected change. Team player with well-developed communication skills, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
