We have an opportunity for a passionate team player to join our homelessness service, Connecting Home, with our Tweed Heads team 4 days per week.
Job DescriptionYou will be part of an innovative team that supports those experiencing homelessness, or at risk thereof to identify and access sustainable housing outcomes, as well as referrals to appropriate community supports.
No two days will be the same; however, you will be providing high-quality, customer-centered assistance.
The position will be a mix of phone-based support and outreach, and there will also be a requirement to collaborate with a variety of community-based organisations to ensure the best possible outcomes.
To be successful, you will be able to demonstrate previous similar experience or relevant transferable skills such as your ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders, service providers, and participants to empower them and develop their capacity and resources.
You should be proficient at completing a needs and risk assessment and be passionate about making positive change.
