Full time (1.0 FTE), Maximum term role until April 2025

Remuneration starting at approx. $59K p.a + superannuation + salary packaging

Generous NFP salary packaging options up to $18,550

Docklands office location with option to work some days at home

The NWMPHN Primary Care Commissioning team lead the Urgent Care Clinic (UCC) program by providing central oversight and high-level project support to PHNs that contract UCCs in Victoria. In addition, NWMPHN are responsible for contracting and managing the UCCs within the NWMPHN region. The Program Support Officer, Primary Care Commissioning will provide support for the team and coordination of activities. You will have the opportunity to develop positive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and thrive on teamwork and supporting the positive culture within our team. About Us

We are North Western Melbourne Primary Health Network (NWMPHN), Victoria's largest independent, locally governed and run, not-for-profit PHN, dedicated to improving primary health care in our community. A typical week may include:

Work with both the statewide coordination and local NWMPHN work to coordinate and deliver activities of the UCC project Support the team through meeting scheduling, minute-taking and other operational coordination Support UCC communication activities by engaging with clinics on Basecamp coordinating and, where appropriate, developing articles for the General Practice News, expressions of interest, and other quality improvement resources Provide project coordination for the UCC projects, including project set up and administration, monitoring of project plans, actions, timelines and risks Support the Statewide Lead Primary Care Commissioning to extract, scrutinise and collate project data Contribute to Primary Health Care Improvement (PHCI) and organisational reporting as required Operate in a flexible manner that recognises shared organisational objectives and the need to support functions across teams as may be required from time to time

We are looking for someone who has:

Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant experience in social science, education or health related area Demonstrated ability to use technology and systems effectively including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ability to rapidly acquire familiarity with new software and technology Well-developed skills in written and verbal communication Familiarity with the use and application of project management methodologies, and ability to contribute to, and coordinate as a member of a project team. Demonstrated experience in managing and implementing systems, reporting and administration activities Demonstrated ability to organise and establish processes to ensure efficient and productive workflows Awareness of the Australian and Victorian health system and policy priorities
