Below is a brief description of this vacancyThis page outlines the vacancy and the key skills and responsibilities for the role.Program Support Officer, Primary Care CommissioningDocklands, AustraliaReference: 6662312Develop your administrative and high-level project support skills to support North Western Melbourne PHNs Urgent Care Clinic (UCC) programFull time (1.0 FTE), Maximum term role until April 2025Remuneration starting at approx. $59K p.a + superannuation + salary packagingGenerous NFP salary packaging options up to $18,550Docklands office location with option to work some days at homeThe NWMPHN Primary Care Commissioning team lead the Urgent Care Clinic (UCC) program by providing central oversight and high-level project support to PHNs that contract UCCs in Victoria. In addition, NWMPHN are responsible for contracting and managing the UCCs within the NWMPHN region.The Program Support Officer, Primary Care Commissioning will provide support for the team and coordination of activities. You will have the opportunity to develop positive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and thrive on teamwork and supporting the positive culture within our team.About UsWe are North Western Melbourne Primary Health Network (NWMPHN), Victoria's largest independent, locally governed and run, not-for-profit PHN, dedicated to improving primary health care in our community.A typical week may include:Work with both the statewide coordination and local NWMPHN work to coordinate and deliver activities of the UCC projectSupport the team through meeting scheduling, minute-taking and other operational coordinationSupport UCC communication activities by engaging with clinics on Basecamp coordinating and, where appropriate, developing articles for the General Practice News, expressions of interest, and other quality improvement resourcesProvide project coordination for the UCC projects, including project set up and administration, monitoring of project plans, actions, timelines and risksSupport the Statewide Lead Primary Care Commissioning to extract, scrutinise and collate project dataContribute to Primary Health Care Improvement (PHCI) and organisational reporting as requiredOperate in a flexible manner that recognises shared organisational objectives and the need to support functions across teams as may be required from time to timeWe are looking for someone who has:Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant experience in social science, education or health related areaDemonstrated ability to use technology and systems effectively including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ability to rapidly acquire familiarity with new software and technologyWell-developed skills in written and verbal communicationFamiliarity with the use and application of project management methodologies, and ability to contribute to, and coordinate as a member of a project team.Demonstrated experience in managing and implementing systems, reporting and administration activitiesDemonstrated ability to organise and establish processes to ensure efficient and productive workflowsAwareness of the Australian and Victorian health system and policy prioritiesWhat's in it for you?A friendly and supportive professional environmentCareer progression opportunitiesGreat work-life balance (Hybrid options to work from home and in office)Other Benefits:Newly Introduced Life Leave - up to 4 days of paid leave a year for cultural celebrations, family events, or your birthdayGenerous paid parental leave for primary and secondary carersAdditional paid leave at Christmas/NYCan apply for additional purchased leave (48/52)Fun social club and health and wellbeing activitiesThe successful candidate will be required to undertake a Working with Children's Check and National Police Check.NWMPHN is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
