We're looking for AO5 equivalent Program Support Officer to join our team.
A05 equivalent payrate $66+ p/h + super Located in Brisbane QLD About the team The Investment Division ensures planned investment in quality training and employment programs, infrastructure, policy, and systems that are responsive to the current and future needs of Queensland's industries, employers, and individuals.
This division includes Skills Investment, Program Investment, and Infrastructure Investment branches.
About the role As an AO5 Program Support Officer, you will perform below duties and responsibilities: Assist in delivering government vocational education and training programs/strategies.
Contribute to the operational management of Skills Investment strategies and programs.
Develop and coordinate programs that support the achievement of Skills Investment goals and objectives.
Provide advice and support to senior management regarding contracted providers and stakeholders.
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders on contractual and program requirements.
Research and prepare executive/ministerial correspondence and briefing papers related to training issues and program management.
Contribute to developing operational policy to ensure high performance standards in program management.
Administer Skills Assure Supplier applications, variations, and audit outcomes, including necessary program improvements.
Handle payments, reconciliations, travel bookings, and other administrative tasks.
Foster an environment that encourages high-quality work and adheres to quality systems.
Plan and monitor emerging challenges to support VET Investment goals and objectives.
About You To thrive in this role, you need: Communication Skills: Strong ability to liaise with stakeholders.
Advisory Experience: Experience providing support to senior management.
Research Skills: Proficient in preparing correspondence and briefing papers.
Policy Development: Contributes to operational policy for program management.
Administrative Skills: Manages applications, payments, and reconciliations.
Problem-Solving: Identifies and plans for emerging challenges.
Leadership Competencies: Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
Relevant Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
Must have full working rights in Australia.
Be able to pass and hold national police check.
