About us:DCC Industry Group specialises in 24-hour residential care, outreach support, community access, supervised family contact, and transport. Dedicated to creating a warm, friendly home environment for our children and young people to empower them with the skills needed to live independent lives.About the role:Working closely with the Area Manager, this leadership role is focused on supporting the day-to-day operations of the residential program while building our youth worker team. You will work with the management team to develop and lead our youth workers to ensure our young people are cared for in the community and their 24/7 accommodation care programs.What's on offer:• Permanent, full-time employment• Set roster – Monday to Friday• No use of a personal vehicle whilst on shift• Career growth and progression• Salary between $90,000 to $100,000 per annumQualifications / Requirements:• Certificate IV or higher in Youth Work or Child, Youth and Family Intervention or similar• Current Blue Card• Proven experience within the residential care sector is essential• Current Australian Driver's License• Current First Aid and CPR, or willingness to obtain• Proven experience in leading and developing staff is essentialAbout you:The ideal candidate is passionate about working with children and young people, is a strong role model, doesn't take things personally, and can help children and young people explore themselves and their culture with good personal and leadership values.Availability:Must be able to do Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm, including occasional on-call duties.We're serious about diversity and cultural inclusivity.
