Full Time Fixed Term Position - Up to 3 Year Contract Band 8 - Salary Range $123,831 to $138,629 per annum + 11.5% Super + ADO Salary offered will depend on level of skills and experience. About Melton City Council The City of Melton is a community where everyone belongs.

The Opportunity At Melton City Council, we are dedicated to creating a vibrant and liveable city for everyone.
As part of the Transformation team, you will be key to delivering the Transformation Change Program (TCP) transitioning from our current technology provider to One Council.
In this role, you will oversee and track the financial performance of the Transformation Change Program – Horizon 1, providing analysis and reporting to ensure alignment with approved benefits, budgets, and forecasts.
Collaborating with the Program Director and Project Manager, you will offer expert guidance on resource planning, financial forecasting, and program reporting to drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities Apply well developed analytical skills to perform performance tracking, analysis and reporting of the program against approved benefits, budget and forecast profiles.Development, maintenance and support of the financial forecast and performance of the program.
Including updates to Melton's financial, project management and reporting systems.Lead research and analysis activities including project level analysis of change initiatives to develop financial reports and graphical presentations for senior management and other sections to inform strategic decision making and business led project governance.Adherence to Melton City Council's Project Management Framework and providing expert advice, highlighting financial risks and direction to Program Director and Project Manager where required.About you To be successful in this role you will have the following: Relevant Business, Finance or Accounting degree or post-graduate qualification.Direct experience with projects aspects of financial systems & Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools.Current membership of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand or CPA.A minimum of three years of relevant experience in the government sector desirable.Culture and Values Our vision for our community is to be: "A vibrant, safe and liveable city accessible to all" and that means there's a place here for you too.
