Program Officer, Pager Replacement Program (Within Emergency Management) Full time, fixed term until 30/12/2025 Attractive VPS 5 salary between $ 106,534 - $128,897 + superannuation Emergency Management includes the department's emergency management accountabilities delivered through Emergency Management Victoria, Emergency Recovery Victoria, Sector Performance and Reform and emergency management statutory entities and offices. The work of the group supports the emergency management sector to work together and to strengthen the capacity of individuals, communities, government, agencies and business to achieve our shared vision of safer and more resilient communities and to rebuild and recover after an emergency.
About the Business Unit EM Technology and Data is responsible for both national and state technology platforms that enable communications to and from the community, sector operational communications and sector information systems. The EM Technology business unit is responsible for delivering the following the key functions of:
Strategy & Enterprise Architecture Investment Planning Support & Development Procurement & Program Delivery About the Roles The Program Officer will provide important administrative and team support for the Pager Replacement Program (PRP).
Some of your duties will include:
Manage, track and appraise stakeholders of status of all delivery artefacts. Track and report program finance and status. Support development of program briefs and maintain high quality document management and communication with key stakeholders. About you To be successful in this role, you will have:
Demonstrated experience in providing program/project support services including financial status tracking and reporting, project administration tasks, management of program registers (actions, risk, issues). Proficient in management of program/project co-ordination using Microsoft Teams, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Project and Microsoft 365. Experience in development of Governmental written communication such as Departmental briefs, financial reporting, program/project status reports and executive briefs (will be highly regarded). Knowledge of government processes and/or emergency services (will be highly regarded). A qualification in Project Management, government or business administration will be highly regarded.
