ABOUT THE ROLEThe Program Officer will work closely with Program Directors and the wider ABV team to support the implementation of ABV's programs, in Australia and the Pacific, and the achievement of program outcomes through the provision of administrative, coordination and technical skills.
This full-time role can be based in Melbourne, Brisbane or Sydney.
The position offers flexibility, allowing for work to be done remotely, with the actual number of remote workdays depending on your location.
The objectives of this role are to:Ensure Effective Program Delivery: Master all program aspects to provide proactive support, and maintain documentation, timelines, budgets, and risks.Manage Logistical Coordination: Handle logistics for events, workshops, and meetings, ensuring necessary resources are available for smooth program operations.Enhance Volunteer and Partnership Engagement: Streamline volunteer onboarding, support corporate partnerships, and facilitate collaboration and communication through training and regular check-ins.Monitor Program Performance and Risks: Support program monitoring processes, identify and escalate risks, and ensure volunteer welfare.Support Business Development and Communications: Identify business opportunities, participate in grant applications, and assist with communications, focusing on feedback collection and analysis for program improvement.Maintain Compliance and Quality Assurance: Adhere to policies, ensuring documentation and processes support high-quality program delivery.In addition to the key objectives outlined in this job advertisement, further detailed key responsibilities, duties and accountabilities for this role can be found in the attached job description.

ABOUT YOUWith over three years of experience in project coordination and office administration, you excel in crafting efficient operational procedures, from project scheduling to detailed logistics.
You have a keen understanding of teamwork and can manage multiple priorities under tight schedules.
Communication is one of your strengths, both written and verbal.
Your experience in community development, volunteer engagement, and customer service will make you an invaluable asset to the ABV team in Australia and the Pacific.
