Full job description In the role of Program Officer, you will coordinate executive support functions to the Deputy Regional Director, Regional Leadership Team and Regional Delivery Team. By providing high level business support services you will contribute to the provision of critical regional business activities and the effective management of programs and projects. Some of your responsibilities will include:
Provide administrative and secretarial support to the Deputy Regional Director and broader regional delivery leadership team. Monitor the Deputy Regional Director's appointments diary including making appointments and coordinating and collating associated papers for meetings, functions and conferences. Draft correspondence / emails and liaise with the TMR Senior Leadership Team on behalf of the Deputy Regional Director. Analyse, interpret and disseminate information and requests to ensure that staff are well informed of current and emerging issues on behalf of the regional delivery leadership team. Contribute to the preparation of briefing papers, reports, and correspondence for the Deputy Regional Director and build strong relationships with internal and external clients while ensuring compliance with WH&S Act, Regulations and Departmental policy. Mandatory qualifications and conditions Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role. Requirements of the role Proficiency in administrative tasks, such as diary management and meeting coordination, with strong organisational skills. Effective communication abilities, including clear written and verbal communication for drafting correspondence and liaising with senior leadership and stakeholders. Analytical skills to interpret and disseminate information to keep staff informed about emerging issues. Strong relationship-building skills to foster partnerships with internal and external clients and represent the Deputy Regional Director professionally. Commitment to compliance with WH&S Act, Regulations and Departmental policy.
