Program Officer

We are looking to find the person best suited for the role and will be considering your knowledge, skills, experience, potential for development and future contribution to the department as well as your personal qualities and how they contribute to building a diverse workforce that reflects the Queensland community.
Social and Affordable Housing Programs contribution is to deliver innovative and accountable program development and management for the Department's investment in housing and homelessness services. We are committed to the successful delivery of the Homes for Queenslanders plan, including assisting Queenslanders who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
What we are looking for
Recognise how own work contributes to the achievement of organisational goals, understand the reasons for decisions and recommendations.
Have proven ability to build and sustain positive relationships with team members and clients and are responsive to changes in client needs and expectations.
Have successfully contributed own expertise to achieve outcomes for the business unit.
Demonstrate confidence to present messages in a clear, concise manner and structure written and oral communication to ensure clarity.
Are able to evidence knowledge in your specialist and/or functional area.
Whilst there are no mandatory qualifications, knowledge of the 2017-2024 Queensland Housing Strategy and community housing will be highly regarded.
