An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated team player to join the Operations Branch, Quality Assessment and Regulation Division (QARD), in the Department of Education, the Victorian Regulatory Authority for early childhood education and care services. Quality Assessment and Regulation Division Quality Assessment and Regulation Division (QARD) licenses and regulates about 4,900 early childhood education and care services operating across Victoria. We strive to be a best practice regulator and use a range of strategies to deliver regulatory outcomes. Our role is to ensure service operators provide safe, high-quality learning environments for children attending their services. As a Program Officer, you will be a key member of the Operations Branch and play a key role in providing high level project and program management support in the management of Operation Branch project activities. This role will also be responsible for providing policy advice on issues to meet the requirements of the National Quality Framework and the Victorian children's services legislation and undertake research and data analysis to identify policy issues and inform the policy development process To be successful in this role, you will be a collaborative and motivated team member and will have demonstrated digital literacy capability skills (MS Teams; MS Office suite; Microsoft Edge, SharePoint). Excellent organisational, written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role. This is a full-time position, at the VPS4 level based in the Central Education District, 200 Victoria Parade, East Melbourne.
