Program Officer

Our QLD Govt client located on the Gold Coast, is looking for an experienced Program Officer to join their team for an initial 12-month contract with likely 12 month extension.  The main focus in this role is to provide support to program and project managers and team members by working with the teams Project Officers to contribute to effective management of programs. 
Duties of this role will include the following:
Establish monthly updates and the creation of new Primavera P6 Schedules through effective working relationships with key stakeholders. Monitor project/program spend across the portfolio and take appropriate action where necessary to mitigate under/overspends in conjunction with key stakeholders processing monthly accruals through SAP and monitoring project forecasts using 3PCM Unifier.Engage and influence stakeholders to achieve positive business outcomes when creating new projects and modifying existing ones.Compliance with the Program Business Rules (to be provided to the appointed resource) is essential to this role, both in terms of adherence and monitoring.Develop, build, and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders.
 The suitable candidate for this role will have worked in a similar role within a large organisation, ideally QLD Govt.  You will have proven experience of scheduling, preferably within a P6 environment and project management skills using 3PCM Unifier.  Experience using SAP would be highly desirable.  This role will pay a maximum of $63.69 per hour plus superannuation.
