TMR's Land Transport Safety and Regulation Branch (LTSR) has a fantastic opportunity for a Program Officer to join the Program Delivery team.
This role provides a real opportunity to contribute toward road safety in Queensland.
As a key member of the Queensland Road Safety Program Management Office (QRS PMO), you will contribute to the Queensland Road Safety Program, driving the achievement of the targets and actions set out in Queensland. Some of your responsibilities will include:
Assist in the preparation of the quarterly QRS Progress Report and dashboard ensuring information is meaningful, accurate and timely available.
This report includes the QRS Dashboard (data, trends, and insights), road safety forecasts and targets, program delivery performance, and investment focus areas.Assist in providing secretarial support to QRS Working Groups, QRS Committees, QRS Board, and other governance groups as required.
This will include organising agendas, scheduling meetings, capturing minutes, and coordinating out of session requests.Maintain QRS PMO information in an organised and easy to navigate manner, including managing online systems such as Microsoft Teams pages and SharePoint sites to ensure they contain accurate, timely, and relevant information including Risk Registers, Action Registers, and Forward Meeting Schedule Registers.Work autonomously on varied tasks as agreed with the Manager (QRS PMO) and communicate progress regularly.Work collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders as a key point of contact for the PMO, helping them navigate governance processes.Some of the additional benefits this opportunity offers include:
