About the office/schoolThe National Marketing Office delivers high quality, insight-driven and evidence-based marketing strategies and initiatives to support the University's mission and objectives.
The office collaborates with the Faculties, Schools and all Offices and Departments across the University to build and strengthen the University's brand and reputation.
About the roleReporting to the National Marketing Manager, the Program Marketing Officer supports academic disciplines across each Faculty to provide strategic project coordination support to marketing activities, campaigns, and projects in line with university enrolment objectives.
The role works with Faculty partners to understand their marketing and recruitment needs, advise on best practice, and work to ensure all marketing activities and campaigns are delivered on time and within budgets.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide marketing program support to academic disciplines across each Faculty and departments through development, coordination and implementation of targeted marketing initiatives, advertising campaigns, strategies, and tactics, designed to support the student recruitment goals of each Faculty.Build effective relationships with key stakeholders within the Faculty and departments of the University providing regular marketing briefings and updates to Faculty Managers, Department Heads or chosen representative.In conjunction with the National Marketing Manager develop and report on Faculty marketing and campaign reports including trend data, marketing plans, campaigns, and updates linked to enrolment objectives.Support the successful development and delivery of effective marketing activities and outcomes by monitoring the success of those campaigns and structuring outcome reporting.Manage the Faculty marketing and recruitment materials, industry and association advertising, and marketing opportunities and activities.Work with Admissions and Prospective Students Office teams on student recruitment activities and conversion to ensure alignment with enrolment pipeline.Other responsibilities, commensurate with the expectations of a role at this level, which contribute to the overall objectives of the Marketing Office.Comply with policies and procedures in all aspects of their work and conduct.Qualifications, skills & experienceBachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business, or in a related field with subsequent relevant experience, or extensive experience and specialist expertise or broad knowledge in technical or administrative fields, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.Experience working in marketing, including well-developed project coordination skills.Experience working in Vocational Education & Training and/or International Marketing is desirable.Strong communication skills with an ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Experience in leading the development, implementation, and evaluation of strategically aligned marketing and recruitment strategies, and advertising campaigns.Ability to think creatively and strategically in developing future-focused service delivery.Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of project management skills including demonstrated ability to work with data sets.Ability to write and add strategic value to the creative brief.Ability to manage marketing campaigns end to end.Excellent time management and organisational skills with a demonstrated ability to respond to changing priorities, meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.Ability to deliver campaigns that are aligned with brand guidelines.Strong written communication skills, attention to detail and proofreading skills.BenefitsFast paced environment with opportunity for professional growthGenerous training and development opportunitiesFriendly and collaborative working environmentHow to applyPlease apply online with a resume and cover letter outlining your suitability for the role.
