Our team seeks a skilled and experienced Program Manager with extensive experience delivering capital infrastructure projects.The role is key to ensuring capital projects are developed and implemented to support Aviation business unit plans and wider APAM strategic objectives. Join us in shaping the future of aviation as we propel Melbourne Airport towards becoming Australia's favourite Airport destination.Key responsibilities:Leading and managing successful delivery of assigned projectsBeing a key point of contact for stakeholders in assigned capital projectsKeeping the stakeholders up to speed with progress in delivery of assigned projectsEnsuring coordination of capital project activities across other business units and program groupsEnsuring cross collaboration across BU functions including drawing in APAM SMEs as required to support Program DeliveryBeing a point of escalation for project team membersEnsuring projects are being progressed to meet Business Unit Business plan requirements in delivery of benefitsPlaying a key role in engagement of internal and external stakeholdersEscalating issues/ matters for direction as neededMonitoring the project teams to ensure the brief and scope are being deliveredPreparing Investment Committee/ Board Submissions to meet timelinesEnsuring capital projects are being progressed to meet respective commercial agreement targetsThe successful candidate will have:Tertiary qualified with experience in planning, development and delivery of projects in the Built Environment.Capital projects experience through all stages of the project lifecycleAn understanding of relevant regulations and legislationStrong financial acumen including development of business cases and development financial appraisalsExperience in developing, assessing and evaluation of options (technical and commercial)Ability to produce results within a given timeframeA high level of motivation and proven experience driving project outcomesWell developed communication skills, both written and verbal and able to communicate at all levels of organisationsWe understand that not everyone will feel they meet all of these 100%.
