The Role This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Program Manager with proven capability in delivering effective business outcomes across complex, multi-streamed, multidisciplinary programs to support transformational initiatives.
As a key leader in the transformation program, this position will play a pivotal role in leading and managing the execution of a program of works and projects as part of an organisation-wide and multi-faceted workforce planning and business transformation program.
Aligned to the University's strategic framework, the focus is on transforming operational ways of working, delivering operational excellence and efficiency, and enhancing service delivery to foster a culture of efficiency, agility and innovation. Specifically, this position will:
Lead and manage a program of works associated with the workforce planning and business transformation program from concept to completion, overseeing all relevant projects to ensure the effective implementation of the outcomes in line with the program's objectives.Develop and execute business cases, and provide high level advice and recommendations on feasibility, optimised solutions, risk mitigation and program planning to ensure program delivery aligns with the University's strategic priorities.Manage the program's budget and ensure projects adhere to financial goals.Build productive and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure cultural and operational alignment.Apply analytical and data-driven methodologies to evaluate and inform program outcomes and governance.Design business requirements for technology, systems and processes to enable effective evaluation and reporting of the program objectives and outcomes.Coach and lead a high-performing team to deliver on ambitious goals.About You You are a seasoned Program Manager with deep and broad experience leading multi-stream transformation programs, and a proven track record of delivering results in complex organisations. You combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution and deliver results in a collaborative and consultative way. In addition, you will have:
Experience leading and embedding transformation of operating models, service delivery and changes to ways of working.Exceptional project management qualifications and experience.Business improvement techniques and evidence-based decision-making.Change management, culture change and fostering workplace culture of accountability.Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.Proficiency in leading multidisciplinary teams.Ability to adapt and thrive in dynamic, multi-stakeholder environments.Desired Attributes Familiarity with the higher education sector.Knowledge of design thinking principles.Why Join Us?
