Salary Packaging benefits up to $15,900 annually to maximise your take home pay   Full Time Parental Leave Contract for 12 Months  About the role The Program Manager Respite and Social Services leads the effective and efficient management of respite and social programs within the Home Services portfolio to meet the operational and strategic outcomes for the organisation. The Program Manager Respite and Social Services fulfils a key role in SCC Services leadership team and works collaboratively and with accountability to achieve best practice outcomes. The Program Manager Respite and Social Services represents the organisation's respite and social services portfolio internally and externally in a manner which builds both trust and the organisation's reputation. Key responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to: Lead the efficient and effective delivery of Better for Life focused respite and social services to SCC's community clients. Ensure programs are aligned to evidence-based, best practice models of care. Facilitate program outcome achievement in line with the organisation's operational and strategic KPIs and maintain the quality reputation of the service. Ensure services meet the clients assessed needs and clients are satisfied with the services they receive. Investigate and respond to any complaints in a timely, professional and effective manner. Lead the proactively and holistic management clinical risk with prevention planning. Investigate and respond to any escalated clinical risks, preventing the (re)occurrence of harm. In this process lead sound risk mitigation and management which balances duty of care and dignity of risk. Lead continuous improvement initiatives and evaluate outcomes. Ensure services operate within all legislative requirements (including the Aged Care Quality Standards) and follow organisational policy and process. About you We are looking for people who will be the difference in the lives of our residents and clients. The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience: Degree or postgraduate qualification in nursing or allied health discipline. Current driver's license. Experience in aged care health and community services, clinical case management and collaboration. Ability to provide leadership in the management of community aged care staff and services to a range of client groups and working with multi-disciplinary teams and health professionals. Demonstrated ability to lead and contribute to a high performing team. Ability to provide leadership and motivation to staff to provide quality client focused services. Demonstrated change management skills with the ability to manage staff and the site through the stages of change. Competency with current aged care service, acts and programs and an awareness of current best practice models of care, and an ability to integrate these for the greatest client benefit.
