About the Role We are looking for a confident, resilient and experienced Program Manager to join our growing team.
You are resilient with an 'I can do attitude', think outside the square and most importantly have a passion for ensuring our clients are respected and well supported.
This role will be based in Kununurra, managing our 12-15 Support Mentors based across Kununurra, Broome and Karratha.
Ideally you will have experience working in Indigenous and remote settings, with people who have complex and diverse needs such as:
Experience working with complex Mental Health needs (Psychosocial, anxiety, OPD, Schizophrenia)Healthcare Knowledge related to ABI and IDExperience in crisis intervention and managementFirst aid wound managementAggression and de-escalationOn Call: You will be part of an afterhours on-call roster.
What's in it for you A generous remuneration paid well above the SCHADS Award.A strong induction based in Perth to set you up for success.An opportunity to work for an organisation that invests in the quality of its services through the development and training of its employees.Key Responsibilities Lead and manage your Support Mentor team in line with the ISA values and behaviours.Ensure delivery of program services in accordance with program budgets, Business Plans, and in line with client needs and associated support plans.Deliver programs compliant with legislation, practice standards, contractual requirements, and internal policy and procedure.Ensure a consistent standard of quality delivery for programs in accordance with regulations prescribed in relevant legislation and funding agency standards.Manage risks and issues arising in the course of service management.Model a flexible and creative approach that is person-centred, enabling and supporting choice and control with the balance of business and operational need.Model appropriate conflict resolution, communication, and positive behaviour management skills.Maintain and manage positive key stakeholder relationships.Oversee time and attendance records of your team and manage scheduled absences.Be point of escalation for direct report staff complaints.Be point of escalation and adjudication where relevant for client complaint follow-up.Skills, Experience & Personal Attributes A degree qualification in Human Services or similar - noting applicants with considerable sector experience will be considered.Demonstrated knowledge of NDIS, practice standards, and the like.Demonstrated experience of working in a leadership/management role in a human services organisation - Mental Health & Disability sector preferred.Demonstrated experience in managing competing priorities and delivering outcomes within agreed timeframes and quality standards.Demonstrated experience working in a dynamic, high-volume work environment.Demonstrated ability to support productive working relationships and manage staff.Ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders including peers, employees, external organisations, funding bodies, and government agencies.Demonstrated ability to contribute to strategic thinking, problem solve and communicate with influence.What we need from you: Current Disability Screening (DHS or NDIS worker Screening)Current Working with Children check.Roadworthy vehicle and Comprehensive Car insurance for business use (if relevant)About the Organisation Innovative Support Australia (ISA) is a Disability Service Provider with a focus on providing bespoke support to achieve the best possible outcomes for the people we care for.
