Key Responsibilities
Lead the monitoring and reporting functions, including developing fit-for-purpose outputs to communicate program updates effectively and efficiently. Oversee financial and procurement activities to ensure they align with appropriate legislation, guidelines, and other relevant practices, working closely with the Authority's central Finance and Procurement teams. Oversee the risk management activities to ensure they align with appropriate legislation, guidelines, and other relevant practices, working closely with the Authority's central governance and risk teams. Lead and manage a team to provide the governance framework, including leading the Project Control Group. Lead the organization's systems approach, which includes Smarty Grants and Salesforce from a customer perspective, as well as GIS and PowerBI from an internal reporting perspective. Foster a culture of support and collaboration within the team to build internal expertise and capabilities to ensure delivery of high-quality outputs to support the team. Maintain awareness of relevant issues, policy obligations, insights, and challenges to identify emerging and sensitive issues and provide strategic and operational advice to the Director and Executive Director to support effective management of these. Pursue, evaluate, recommend, and deliver innovative solutions that optimize outcomes and contribute to a best practice function in line with organizational priorities. Manage complex and sensitive consultations and negotiations with diverse stakeholders, within agreed timelines, given their varying expectations, viewpoints, and interests. Achieve multiple project objectives, given limited resources and tight deadlines, and the need to identify project interdependencies and balance competing demands and priorities.
