Wattle House, located in Maddington in Perth's southeast region, is a dynamic community hub dedicated to offering a range of support services to individuals and families with complex needs.
As the Program Manager, you will lead, manage, and develop a diverse team of 8 paid staff and 10 volunteers within Homelessness Services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, contractually compliant services.
Your role will include providing effective line management and supervision of staff, fostering positive relationships with key community stakeholders, and reporting on outcomes.
Your Key Responsibilities Work with the Wattle House team, the Communities of Focus and Community Chaplaincy teams to ensure the development of effective programs and activities at Wattle House that meet the needs of the clients accessing the Community Hub.Lead, manage, and supervise a multidisciplinary team.Take accountability to achieve results in line with set timeframes and report on the outcomes achieved.Build and maintain positive sustainable internal and external relationships.Engage with local communities and develop effective stakeholder relationships across the area.Plan and implement continuous improvement initiatives.Provide direct service delivery to clients as required.Requirements for Success Relevant degree and/or a minimum of five years' experience.Experience working within a child safe model of practice.Demonstrated ability to deliver service outcomes on time and compliant with funding requirements.Highly developed communication, coaching, training, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.Experience in budget and financial management.Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills with a flexible and adaptable working style.Strong experience working with people with complex issues and needs.Ability to deal with ambiguity and complexity.Full driver licence with no restrictions.Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications, and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
