4 Dec 2024Program Manager – Maximum Term / Perth Office CBD We are seeking a Program Manager to lead a portfolio of complex infrastructure projects and drive positive commercial outcomes. This role involves providing technical leadership across the entire program lifecycle, ensuring the successful delivery of large-scale infrastructure initiatives. You will be accountable for planning, organising, resourcing, and controlling program activities, while maintaining key internal relationships and overseeing the execution of projects in alignment with business objectives. Your Role in Action Lead, coordinate and manage Western Power infrastructure projects to conclusion on time, within budget and in line with quality & safety standards.Plan for program success through the delivery of the overall program and its activities in accordance with business requirements and the strategic goals of the organisation.Develop and implement long-term goals, objectives, reporting and governance structures to achieve the successful outcome of the assigned program.Lead the engagement and negotiation with internal and external stakeholders to ensure program outcomes are achieved.Ensure that program activities operate in line with internal policies & frameworks and comply with all relevant legislation and professional standards.Ensure that the program operates within the approved budget while taking appropriate mitigating or corrective actions where required.Successful risk management against regulatory, commercial, reputational, legal and safety risks.Report evaluation findings to program sponsor / senior leadership and recommend changes to enhance the program, as appropriate. What Makes You a Great Fit Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Engineering (preferred), Business Management, Economics, Project Management or Finance.A seasoned professional with broad and or deep range of knowledge and expertise gained through comprehensive experience i.e. 10+ years in senior programme/project management roles.Significant experience in managing large scale complex projects or programs of concurrent projects with multiple workstreams.Experienced in complex commercial and tender negotiations of significant value.Comprehensive negotiation and relationship skills and the ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation including C Suite.Ability to negotiate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve win-win outcomes.Proven technical leadership and team building skills when managing large and complex programs and projects.Strategic perspective, strong analytical and business acumen capability, ability to think conceptually and ability to apply business context to when generating solutions.
