About this Opportunity The Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority (VIDA) is looking for a skilled Program Manager to oversee the Enterprise Information and Technology objectives associated with integrating the Victorian Health and Building Authority (VHBA) into VIDA as part of the Machinery of Government (MoG) integration.
The Program Manager will report to VIDA's Chief Information Officer (CIO) and will be responsible for leading and delivering a program of work to achieve the objectives defined by the parent VIDA Transition Program, which includes Enterprise Technology outcomes. The Program Manager must possess strong expertise in managing MoG's or mergers and acquisition type programs, ensuring that all activities are effectively managed, concluded punctually and with exceptional quality. The position will develop a playbook for future MoG activities that VIDA's Information & Technology (I&T) team might engage in the future.
As a leader within the Office of the Director-General, the Program Manager will closely collaborate with professionals at the highest levels both within VIDA and across the Victorian Public Service (VPS).
The successful candidate will demonstrate comprehensive expertise in business and technology project management principles and methods, and an ability to develop realistic and well considered solutions to emerging issues. The successful candidate will have excellent communication, stakeholder and vendor management skills, along with a proven track record of fostering collaboration and teamwork, and an ability to establish a network of contacts across the public service.
