Our client is delivering a world class communications and information management system. Working in a safety critical environment, the key focus of this position is working alongside a highly motivated and dynamic team of Software, Electronic, Design and Systems Engineers.
The successful applicant will join the Senior Management Team, providing strategic leadership and advice on all engineering and capability issues relating to a new communications system for defence and federal agencies.
Experience Required:Ideally a degree in Project ManagementExperience in delivering highly technical systems.Proven project end-to-end experience and deliveryProven stakeholder engagement and managementBroad engineering experience base, preferably within the Defence Aerospace IndustryAble to manage dynamic and motivated teamsManagement of the Project ScheduleA high level of ASDEFCON experienceCoordination of work packagesExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsBusiness/budgetary experience or an appointment with P&L responsibilitiesExperience in Contract Management and AdministrationApplicant MUST be eligible for a Defence security clearance (Australian Citizen)This position would ideally suit applicants with experience in complex automation and voice communication systems. Candidates with a strong background and extensive experience in demanding leadership and management appointments would suit this role. Managers with a high level of experience in purchasing and logistics, including purchasing, should apply.
