Job Description About Your New Employer
West Technology is proud to be partnering with a well-established Australian company who are in a critical growth phase across their IT function. This is a highly innovative industry that has significant backing from the wider business. You will be tasked to lead the project managers for a greenfield IT program at its early and exciting stages.
About Your New Role
Reporting to the Program Director, you'll be a seasoned Program Manager who comes from a critical infrastructure industry. You'll be working across both the business and IT side of the business, linking up closely with stakeholders to build out a brand new infrastructure from the ground up, applications, reporting and security.
Key tasks include:
Overall responsibility for multiple IT infrastructure projects Solution scope and design, with a strong emphasis on simplifying processes as you help shape the new environment Help managing the external delivery partners Collaborate closely with other members of the IT development team to deliver an integrated portfolio of application/platform/infrastructure/cyber security solutions Drive disciplined planning, process, execution, and measurement of work Drive disciplined process execution and use resources efficiently to focus on critical priorities Help build and shape a great work culture in an ambitious team About You
• An experienced IT Program Manager from an IT infrastructure background
• Proven experience of delivering successful IT projects from start to finish
• Experience of working in a startup would be very advantageous
• Demonstrable experience of playing a significant part in the build and development of brand new, greenfield programs
• Excellent communicator, team player - excellent stakeholder management skills
• Previous critical infrastructure, enterprise asset management or operational technology experience
• Relevant Project Management qualifications - PMP, Prince2, PMBOK or similar
• A passion for problem-solving and working proactively
• Knows the relevant questions and solutions that are required in an environment with no existing workflows
• Demonstrable experience in working with a variety of IT infrastructures
• Can think independently while working in a collaborative business where being a team player
• A seasoned program manager in commercial business units
• A natural leader with the ability to manage different personality types and adapt your approach when needed
