Your new role: Oversee delivery of the National Surveillance for Hepatitis B Indicators Program, Link-2-Hep Care project and other priority activities, including operational supervision of team members and program design, evaluation and reporting.
Lead the establishment and analysis of a linked dataset to define the cascade of care for people diagnosed with chronic viral hepatitis and allow targeted intervention for cases not engaged in care.
Collaborate closely with the Victorian Department of Health, Local Public Health Units, data linkage units, and state and Commonwealth data custodians.
About you: You have a postgraduate qualification in epidemiology with experience in the analysis of large and complex datasets and an understanding of public health surveillance systems and processes.
You have experience managing public health and research projects.
You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build successful collaborative relationships.
You work with respect and cultural sensitivity with people from diverse backgrounds.
