As the Queensland Government's builder, QBuild plays an important role in communities across the state by building and maintaining government-owned assets such as schools, social housing, police stations, and correctional and health facilities.
With almost 1,400 staff and a network that includes 20 offices and 34 depots across the state, QBuild is well positioned to deliver construction and maintenance services to communities, including those in regional and remote areas.
About the roleWe invite you to join our team and partner with our experienced L&D Program Manager in a job-share, part-time role, working 14.5 hours per week from Wednesday to Friday. This is a fantastic temporary opportunity for 6 months, with the possibility of extension. Key responsibilities include:
Co-lead a team of Learning and Development specialists in enhancing learning, training, and development programs across QBuildPlanning, designing, and delivering learning and development strategies and programsProviding leadership support, team coordination, and actively engaging in hands-on delivery of programsImplementing initiatives to promote a culture of learning and continuous improvementManaging the delivery of the Training Plan including budgets, timeframes, and reportingCollaborating with state-wide representatives to drive learning and development programsQBuild guarantees that you will be provided a safe, inclusive, and diverse workplace, as well as access to generous leave entitlements, flexible work options, and salary packaging.
